Author and Editor – Dr Srikanta K. Panigrahi, Member to Prime Minister’s National Strategic Knowledge Mission on Climate Change, Director General, Indian Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD), New Delhi and a Leading Environmentalist and Poet who has worked with Ministry of Environment & Forests, Ministry of External Affairs and Planning Commission in Government of India and UNEP and World Bank in United Nations for 27 years, Traveled 53 Countries Leading Indian Delegations on Multilateral Environment Agreements, Conference of Parties in Climate Change of UNFCCC, Desertification and Biodiversity Conventions of UNCCD and UNCBD etc. Dr Panigrahi is awarded by hon’able Prime Minister of India “National Science Popularization Award” in 2004-05 for his immense contribution in popularizing science among common masses by creating scientific literature in last 20 years.

About the Book – It is part of Dr Srikanta K. Panigrahi’s last 17 years individual initiative / pet project , where he organizes Group Discussions, Debate, Dialogue and Interactions involving cross sectoral talents of different age group who have made Odisha proud – on how Odiyas as a Forceful Race had emerged in the past, contributed significantly to nation and in different Spears of the humanity, including Art & Culture, Commerce and Industry, Politics, Science & Technology etc and presently contributing as well as what should have our future strategy to come out successful as a Dignified Race with enough vigour and vitality – This Book is an edited anthology – the result of Some of the Significant Thoughts of few of the Leading Odiays varying Cross sections of the Society with Contributors from Odisha and Beyond including Non Resident Odias – He plans to bring out another few such valuable collections in the series this being as the turning point – There are 30 historic contributors starting from Madhusudan Das, Gopabandhu Dash, Subash Chandra Bose, Biju Patanaik to Shri Jatin Das, Dr Pratibha Roy, Shri Hara Prasad Das, Shri Satkadi Hota, Dr Subhash Pani, Ambassador Amarendra Khatua etc.
