Best Bet Narendra Modi

Post-Parliament Elections, for the 16th Lok Sabha Leadership, Narendra Modi is by far the best bet for the country's all round Best Governance in all fields so much so that the people of all hues belonging to all political cliques are desperately wanting to zero in on him as the next Prime Minister. Modi himself is patient though promoting himself all throughout the country's length and breath assiduously, diabolically, cogently, flagrantly, patiently, tactfully,yet, tacitly. He at present is making himself fully acquainted with the countrymen of all hues, of all cliques, of all ideologies, of all bends, of all thoughts, of all opinions including those who think 'bad', 'dirty', 'crap', 'infructuous', 'useless', 'anti-Muslim' of him. He is aware that he has not much time left for the electioneering for the 16th Lok Sabha. Thus, he wants himself to be known all throughout the country as synonymous with PMship post results of 16th Lok Sabha Elections are out. He thus is virtually self-abnegating to win all and influence all in the country in his favour without any reservation/s of any kind.

Withdraw Lotus and Hand election symbols & three other suggestions to make elections in India clean

By Dr. Leo Rebello

Objection to Election Symbols of BJP and Congress. Objection to raising Election Expense from Rs.40 lakhs to Rs.70 lakhs. Revision Suggested by me to Form VII-A-Rule 10(1) on 6th March 1995. Failure of the ECI as a Watchdog of Democracy. LET US TAKE THESE FOUR ISSUES – to make the ECI more responsible. The most important right in any election is the ‘Right to Know’ your candidate, based on which depends the ‘Right to Choose’. If you elect your candidate properly, the ‘Right to Reject’ (or NOTA) and ‘Right to Recall’ become redundant. Hence, the ECI should apply its mind and rededicate itself to conducting elections properly. Presently, elections in India are total sham and ECI is another appendage of bad governance. For Good Governance, change has to start here.

By Vidya Bhushan Rawat

The Dalit priest theory of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi is an aim to deflect the attention from the real issues of the Balmiki community which is isolated and face severe untouchability. Modi has rarely spoken against caste discrimination and the historical injustice done to Dalits hence it is nothing but plain hypocrisy to grab positive headlines.

Mahatma The Phenomenon

By Siddhartha Shankar Mishra

Mahatma Gandhi was a world leader, a visionary, a Yug- Purush. As a scientist, I am tempted to attempt a definition of Yug- Purush. The American thinker Thoreau said, “ A man is wise with the wisdom of his time only, and ignorant with its ignorance”. This is true of people like me because we are ordinary people. A handful of people appear amidst us once

Air India

More it flies the more it loses;

JIP Report

It is a never dying story. Air India epitomises the adage that the government should not be running a business. Its losses increase every hour. The more it flies, the more it loses. But those who were responsible for the disaster have instead been penalised have been adequate rewarded. Today, accumulated losses have crossed Rs 33,000 crore since 2007 to 2013 financial year over. The 2013-14 is to add losses by another Rs 3900 crore. It has a debt burden of Rs 43,000 crore. Total losses are possibly under estimated and may be around Rs 1 lakh crore. Narendra Modi: The GameChanger

By Sudesh Verma

For the first time, Modi has been quoted in any book talking about the hitherto untouched aspects of his life. The book is based on extensive interviews of the Gujarat Chief Minister and his close relatives about the influences that shaped his thoughts and actions. The 400-plus pages talk about the inspiring stories that made Modi what he is today—how he evolved as a man of development and empowered people with his decisions, and how he faced the poison-laced barbs of his critics who were ready to tear him to pieces for a crime he never committed.

CBI on warpath with Supreme Court

By Subhashis Mittra.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) appears to be on a collision course with the Supreme Court. The friction started six months ago when the apex court had strongly criticised the government for its interference in the CBI probe into the coal blocks allocation scam, which led to the resignation of Ashwani Kumar as Law Minister and Harin Rawal as Additional Solicitor General. The apex court had termed CBI as a "caged parrot with many masters" and had asked the government to file an affidavit on how to free the agency of its control. Based on its affidavit filed in the court in July 2013, the government has proposed changes in the Delhi Special Police Establishment (DSPE) Act, 1946, but it has not accepted any of the CBI's demands.
