Editorial
Post-Parliament Elections, for the 16th Lok Sabha Leadership, Narendra Modi is by far the best bet for the country's all round Best Governance in all fields so much so that the people of all hues belonging to all political cliques are desperately wanting to zero in on him as the next Prime Minister. Modi himself is patient though promoting himself all throughout the country's length and breath assiduously, diabolically, cogently, flagrantly, patiently, tactfully, yet, tacitly. He at present is making himself fully acquainted with the countrymen of all hues, of all cliques, of all ideologies, of all bends, of all thoughts, of all opinions including those who think 'bad', 'dirty', 'crap', 'infructuous', 'useless', 'anti-Muslim' of him. He is aware that he has not much time left for the electioneering for the 16th Lok Sabha. Thus, he wants himself to be known all throughout the country as synonymous with PMship post results of 16th Lok Sabha Elections are out. He thus is virtually self-abnegating to win all and influence all in the country in his favour without any reservation/s of any kind.

With nearly ninety cases under investigation of CBI and other investigation agencies, India struggles to maintain its strategic defence position on the globe. By 2015, Indian Navy will be left with 5-6 Submarines. Size of India's Submarine fleet will be roughly same as that of Pakistan. That’s when Indian Navy will lose Sub- Sea Edge over Pakistan. China operates more than 50 Submarines and has plans to build 15 additional Yuan-class (most sophisticated) Attack Submarines. Indian Navy has no qualms, worries about it.

JIP Report
The world has started deglobalising.
The US has taken
the lead. India needs to correct
its economic policies and decouple,
according to United Nations latest

Its almost no holds barred NaMo vs Rahul G for the ensuing 16th Lok Sabha elections and the subsequent, national leadership culminating into Prime Minister : Will he be Rahul Gandhi or Narendra Modi ? Its at present uppermost, most primary, fundamental in the almostcountless Bhartiya Janta Janardan's mind/s.

Objection to Election Symbols of BJP and Congress. Objection to raising Election Expense from Rs.40 lakhs to Rs.70 lakhs. Revision Suggested by me to Form VII-A-Rule 10(1) on 6th March 1995. Failure of the ECI as a Watchdog of Democracy. LET US TAKE THESE FOUR ISSUES – to make the ECI more responsible. The most important right in any election is the ‘Right to Know’ your candidate, based on which depends the ‘Right to Choose’. If you elect your candidate properly, the ‘Right to Reject’ (or NOTA) and ‘Right to Recall’ become redundant. Hence, the ECI should apply its mind and rededicate itself to conducting elections properly. Presently, elections in India are total sham and ECI is another appendage of bad governance. For Good Governance, change has to start here.

The Dalit priest theory of
Gujarat chief minister
Narendra Modi is an aim
to deflect the attention
from the real issues of the

is isolated and face severe
untouchability. Modi has
rarely spoken against
caste discrimination and
the historical injustice

nothing but plain
hypocrisy to grab positive

Highway toll
By Shivaji Sarkar
Highway toll is igniting
India. It is not
restricted to Raj
Thackeray’s Maharashtra.
It is becoming an all-India
phenomenon. The coming
elections may see it as
deciding the fate of many
parties and candidates
based on their approach
to the issue.
It is becoming more than
a political issue. Toll
booths are hurting people.
It is hurting the poor the
most. It increases the cost
of transportation and price
of every commodity. It is
also becoming a serious
law and order issue across
the country.
There are protests in
Delhi, Gurgaon, Rohtak in
Haryana, Assam,
Arunachal, Uttar Pradesh,
Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat,
Orissa and Tamilnadu and
other states over levying
toll on roads and highways.

Mahatma Gandhi was a world
leader, a visionary, a Yug-
Purush. As a scientist, I am
tempted to attempt a definition of Yug-
Purush. The American thinker Thoreau
said, “ A man is wise with the wisdom of
his time only, and ignorant with its
ignorance”. This is true of people like
me because we are ordinary people. A
handful of people appear amidst us once
Economy
By Shivaji Sarkar
The last budget presented by
finance P Chidambaram has
robbed the poor to give
concessions to the rich and neo-rich.
Slashing taxes on automobiles, mobikes,
fridges and some other goods may have
helped the rich but the poor sees cuts of
over Rs 31,000 crore in many
programmes, including mid-day meal,
aimed at them.
Air India
JIP Report
It is a never dying story. Air India
epitomises the adage that the
government should not be running a
business. Its losses increase every hour.
The more it flies, the more it loses. But
those who were responsible for the
disaster have instead been penalised
have been adequate rewarded.
Today, accumulated losses have
crossed Rs 33,000 crore since 2007 to
2013 financial year over. The 2013-14 is
to add losses by another Rs 3900 crore.
It has a debt burden of Rs 43,000 crore.
Total losses are possibly under estimated
and may be around Rs 1 lakh crore.
The Supreme Court in September
2012 has issued notice to the central
government and Air India on a petition
seeking probe into the “unnecessary”
purchase of 111 aircraft costing Rs
67,000 crore..
Book Review
By Sudesh Verma
For the first time, Modi
has been quoted in
any book talking
about the hitherto
untouched aspects of his
life. The book is based on
extensive interviews of the
Gujarat Chief Minister and
his close relatives about
the influences that shaped
his thoughts and actions.
The 400-plus pages talk
about the inspiring stories
that made Modi what he is
today—how he evolved as
a man of development and
empowered people with
his decisions, and how he
faced the poison-laced
barbs of his critics who
were ready to tear him to
pieces for a crime he
never committed.

The Central Bureau of
Investigation (CBI) appears to
be on a collision course with the
Supreme Court. The friction started six
months ago when the apex court had
strongly criticised the government for
its interference in the CBI probe into
the coal blocks allocation scam, which
led to the resignation of Ashwani Kumar
as Law Minister and Harin Rawal as
Additional Solicitor General.
The apex court had termed CBI as a
"caged parrot with many masters" and
had asked the government to file an
affidavit on how to free the agency of its
control. Based on its affidavit filed in the
court in July 2013, the government has
proposed changes in the Delhi Special
Police Establishment (DSPE) Act, 1946,
but it has not accepted any of the CBI's
demands.
